Which course should I take—Beginner or Pro?
Take the Beginner course if you're new to design thinking or want to build a strong foundation in creative problem-solving and design fundamentals. Take the Pro course if you already have design experience or have completed the Beginner course and are ready to master real-world workflows, AI-powered execution, and portfolio-building skills. Both paths are equally valuable—choose based on where you are now.
Do I need design experience to start?
No. The Beginner course is designed for people with zero design background. We teach design thinking first, then visual skills. If you can think critically and ask good questions, you can learn design. We've taught professionals from tech, business, marketing, and creative fields with no prior design experience—and they've thrived.
How much time does each course take?
The Beginner course typically takes 8–12 weeks, with approximately 4–6 hours of learning per week (mix of live sessions, projects, and self-paced work). The Pro course takes 10–14 weeks with 5–7 hours per week. Both are designed for working professionals, so you can fit them around your schedule. Exact timelines depend on your pace and depth of engagement.
What will my portfolio look like after completing a course?
After the Beginner course: You'll have 3–4 portfolio pieces demonstrating design thinking and creative problem-solving—work that shows your process, not just pretty visuals. After the Pro course: You'll have a complete portfolio of real-world design projects (branding, packaging, digital systems) that employers and clients actually care about. Your portfolio will tell a story of strategic thinking and execution, not just aesthetics.
Do I need to know AI tools before starting?
No. The Beginner course introduces you to AI tools in design—we teach you how to use them strategically, not just as gimmicks. The Pro course assumes familiarity with basic design software and builds on that foundation. If you're completely new to design tools, the Beginner course covers the essentials. We're teaching you to think first, then use tools effectively—that's the opposite of most design education.
What's the difference between the courses?
Beginner course focuses on design thinking fundamentals, visual basics, and structured creative processes—it's about building a solid foundation. Pro course assumes you have that foundation and dives into real-world workflows, advanced AI integration, branding strategy, packaging design, and client-facing skills. Think of Beginner as "how to think like a designer" and Pro as "how to work like a professional designer in the real world."
Can I take both courses?
Absolutely. We recommend taking the Beginner course first, then the Pro course. Many students do exactly that. The Beginner course builds the thinking patterns and foundational skills that make the Pro course far more valuable. You could also take them back-to-back or with a break in between—it's your pace.
